According to Baton Rouge Police, 33 people were arrested Thursday night around 9 p.m. during an alcohol compliance check at Shady's Bar in Baton Rouge.
The compliance check was conducted by the Baton Rouge Police, Baton Rouge Fire Department and the East Baton Rouge ABC Office.
Shady's Bar is located just outside of the LSU campus in the 600 block of East Boyd Drive.
Police say 12 individuals were arrested for being in the bar without identification. One was arrested for being under the age of 18. Two were arrested for disturbing the peace by intoxication and interfering with a police investigation. Eighteen individuals were arrested for possession of alcohol by persons under the age of 21.
The owners and operators of Shady's Bar may face additional charges.
The names of the 33 people arrested have not been released.
