BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
Baton Rouge firefighters were busy after a local bakery caught fire early Sunday morning. The fire happened at Baum's Fine Pastries on Florida Blvd just before 3:00 am.
Firefighters arrived on the scene to find heavy smoke coming from a walk in cooler located at the back of the building. Most of the fire damage was contained to the cooler, there was minor damage to the room where most of the baking is done as well. The rest of the building sustained water and smoke damage.
