SOUTH CAROLINA (WMBF) - If you're planning a road trip for your Thanksgiving holiday, the price of gas may make the journey a little better.
The average price of a gallon of gas dropped seven cents over the past two weeks. The Lundberg Survey of fuel prices has the national average price for regular at $3.47 a gallon.
Missouri has the cheapest gas in the country at $3.09 per gallon while South Carolina is close with an average of $3.12 per gallon.
However, most drivers in the Grand Strand and Pee Dee are paying less than $3.00.
