BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

A 19-year-old faces charges in connection with two armed robberies in Baton Rouge, but charges in others may be pending.

The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office said Daniel Green was arrested Tuesday on two counts of armed robbery and one count of aggravated battery.

The battery charge was related to a clerk being pistol-whipped during one of the robberies.

Deputies added more charges may be pending from the Baton Rouge Police Department.

They reported he confessed to four robberies.

EBRSO said Green was pulled over Monday evening for a traffic stop on Gardere Lane.

According to reports, deputies saw a black BB pistol on the floorboard of the vehicle.

Investigators said the gun looked very similar to one used in two recent armed robberies at the Cracker Barrel on Burbank Boulevard.

They said he also closely resembled the suspect seen on surveillance video robbing the store.

Authorities said Green was cited for several traffic violations and released.

However, detectives met with him at home Tuesday and questioned him. They said after he was advised of his rights he admitted to committing the Cracker Barrel robberies on Oct. 16 and Nov. 17.

They said he also told them he was the person responsible for two other robberies at convenience stores. BRPD is currently investigating those crimes.

Investigators said Green gave them permission to search his home and they reported finding several pieces of clothing worn during the robberies.

Green was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.

Bond information was not released by authorities.
