LAUDERDALE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Two brothers wanted in connection with a Monday night murder in Lauderdale County were captured in Tallahassee, Florida.

U.S. Marshals tracked down 24-year-old Shannon Paul Brewer and his brother, Jerry Brewer, in North Florida Tuesday afternoon. They were driving the 2001 Toyota Sequoia investigators in Alabama were searching for.

Investigators took out a warrant on Shannon Brewer. They said he stabbed Mark Dishon and Sandra Sikes at Dishon's home on County Road 638 Monday night.

Dishon died from his injuries. His body was sent for an autopsy. Sikes was treated at ECM hospital and later released.

So far, the motive in the stabbing is unknown. Investigators said the suspect was an acquaintance of the victims.

U.S. Marshals pinned the suspects' vehicle in on a dead end street around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. The men gave up without a fight.

"I just don't think they wanted to shot it out with that many officers," said U.S. Marshal Marty West.

West said a semi-automatic handgun was recovered along with the vehicle. The men took off their Alabama license plate and switched them with a different plate. Marshals also recovered cold beer the brothers bought just before their capture.

The Brewer boys were booked into the Leon County, Florida jail after their arrest.
