PORT ALLEN, LA (WAFB) -
According to a witness at the scene, a woman was driving on Rosedale Road in Port Allen when a large bird, possibly a hawk, smashed into her windshield.
The witness says the driver couldn't see through her windshield after it happened and she was able to slow to a stop.
No human injuries were reported in the incident, however, the bird did not survive.
