BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
A home is considered a total loss after a fire Friday afternoon on Lacey Ave.
When firefighters arrived at 2:45 p.m., the building was already engulfed in flames. The fire was brought under control about an hour later.
A person living in the home was treated on the scene by EMS.
Investigators believe the fire started in the area of the carport or utility room.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
