Troy returns home after falling to UALR on Thursday night, 58-56, in its first Sun Belt game of the season.  Troy continued to struggle from the field, shooting just 38.1 percent from the field.  Hunter Williams led the team with 11 points and a career-high seven assists, while Ray Chambers scored eight points and tied a career-high with 11 boards.

Williams leads the team this season in scoring, at 11.5 points per game.  Emil Jones is right behind him, at 9.8 points per game, to go with a team-high 5.6 rebounds per contest.  Troy is shooting 38.1 percent from the field on the season and 32.3 percent from range.

WKU comes into the matchup having won three straight, including a 65-54 win at ULM on Thursday.  T.J. Price was untouchable for the Hilltoppers, scoring 30 points, grabbing six rebounds, dishing out three assists and blocking three shots on the day.  Jamal Crook leads the team on the season with 16.3 points per game, while Price is in second at 16.0 per game.

Troy is 7-8 all-time against the Hilltoppers, but won both matchups last season.  Chambers scored a career-best 14 points against WKU in the first meeting last season, while Emil Jones led the way in the second game, scoring 16 points and tearing down nine rebounds.

The game ends a stretch of four games in seven days for the Trojans.  So far, Troy is 1-2 on the swing.
