Phoenix police were questioning five suspects who were riding in a limousine after a shooting that left at least one person hospitalized in serious condition and another man with a wound to a hand late Sunday night.
Sgt. Trent Crump of the Phoenix Police Department said the limousine contained several men and one woman. One of the suspects appeared to have shot himself in the hand and was later found at a Phoenix hospital.
The shooting took place just before 11 p.m. near 123 N. 30th Drive after "some type of altercation," according to Lt. Jeff Pierce of the Phoenix Police Department.
Pierce said the altercation happened at a house between several people. He said seven people were inside the limousine when it was stopped at 16th Street and Indianola Avenue.
He said police still had not determined how many people were involved, how many shots were fired or who fired the shots.
No other information was immediately available.
