UNION SPRINGS, AL (WSFA) -
At South Highlands Middle School in Union Springs, biology class is fun. The woman leading the group Ms. Rebekah Babers. She's been teaching for 8 years, but this is her first at South Highlands. "My philosophy is all students can learn," Babers said.
And this isn't just some town on the map. Babers grew up in Union Springs. "This is my home so it's good to give back."
On the day we visited the students were in biology class working on identifying body parts. She loves seeing her students excel. "Just to see my students blossom and grow and learn new things means a lot to me."
It means a lot to the students too. Congratulations Ms. Rebekah Babers, you're this week's Class Act.
