BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
A new
magnet program at Lee High School will be discussed at a community forum
Wednesday evening.
The public
is invited to attend the meeting at the Instructional Resource Center on South
Foster Drive at 6 p.m.
One option
being considered is having the magnet program focus on "stem"
classes.
Those are science,
technology, engineering and math.
System
officials will seek a large federal grant to finance the magnet program at Lee
High and three other schools.
