CLIFTON, OH (FOX19) -

Shriners Hospital of Cincinnati celebrated a major donation on Wednesday.

The Emery Federal Credit Union donated more than $30,000 to Shriners Hospital for Children in Clifton.

The donation came from money raised at Emery's 6th Annual Golf Outing fundraiser in September.

Jerry Hardisty, Chairman for Shriners Hospital Cincinnati, says the donation was well received.

"We do a lot of plastic reconstructive. What they do lets us do what we love to do".

Officials say Emery Federal Credit Union has raised more than $6,000 for Shriners Hospital for Children in the past six years.
