B-105 kicks off Toys for Tots camp out at Turfway Park

FLORENCE, KY (FOX19) -

Local radio DJ's began their camp out for a good cause in Florence on Thursday.

B-105's Chris Carr & Company are camping out at Turfway Park collecting donations for the Toys for Tots Foundation.

Chris Carr, Maverick and Stattman will camp for 54 consecutive hours, from 6 a.m. on Thursday until Saturday at noon.

Those interested are invited to stop by Turfway Park and bring new, unwrapped toys or a cash donation.

All donations go directly to Toys for Tots, which gives toys to kids less fortunate.

Carr said, "Nothing is stopping the B-105 audience and Chris Carr & Company from making sure every child in the Tri-State has a toy this Christmas! We'll be hunkered down, camping out at Turfway Park with the U.S. Marines until our mission is complete".

This is B-105's fourth annual Toys for Tots camp out.
