Miss Alabama USA 2012 and Miss Alabama Teen USA 2012 will pass on their crowns to two new state titleholders Saturday. For the second year in a row, Montgomery will host the illustrious event, happening over a two-day period, December 7 and 8, at the Montgomery Performing Arts Center.

"Alabama's Capital City of Montgomery is the perfect home for the Miss Alabama USA and Miss Alabama Teen USA Pageants," explains Paula Miles, Executive Director. "The contestants, their friends, and families will be treated to a first class event and will be able to experience all that Montgomery has to offer, from the city's rich downtown history to The Alley Entertainment District."

For the first time ever, pageant fans who are unable to attend the show may watch from home! The Miss Alabama USA and Miss Alabama Teen USA pageants will be webcast live via www.pageantvision.com for a small fee. It will be worth it to see as the new queens are crowned.

The Miss Alabama USA and Teen USA pageants are the Official State Preliminaries to the Miss USA® and Miss Teen USA® Pageants, which are part of the Miss Universe Organization, a Donald J. Trump and NBCUniversal Partnership.

Miss Alabama USA 2012, Katherine Webb, was a top 10 finalist at the nationally televised Miss USA Pageant in June, and Peyton Brown, Miss Alabama Teen USA, was a top 15 finalist at the Miss Teen USA competition in the Bahamas.

The weekend's pageants will feature qualified contestants between the ages of 14-26, who will compete in interview, swimsuit, and evening gown competitions. They will be vying for thousands of dollars in scholarships and prizes as well as the ability to travel the state promoting the pageants and its charitable alliances.

Two deserving young ladies will kick off their year immediately, making appearances across Alabama and preparing for the national competitions next summer.
