Have you noticed the new lights on the most visible building in Montgomery? The RSA Tower in downtown Montgomery has gotten into the holiday spirit with a light show all its own.
Officials with the Retirement Systems of Alabama, which owns the building, tell WSFA 12 News the it was getting difficult to replace light bulbs on the previous lighting system that was installed on the tower.
The RSA decided it was time for a new system and new technology. The lighting on the building can now be adjusted.
The lights on the tower have been on since last Saturday. They start at 5pm daily and run until 1am the next morning, with the lights changing at the top of every hour. At 1am the lights stay steady until dawn.
Some of the lighting themes include a Christmas theme, which is currently active, a 4th of July theme, and a St. Patrick's Day theme.
