GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -
One man is dead after being hit by an oncoming 18-wheeler on interstate 20.
The accident happened Friday night on interstate 20 near mile marker 594. Around 10:30pm, an 18-wheeler traveling westbound struck a pedestrian in the roadway.
The driver said the man jumped in front of his truck at the last second. Officials say the man was killed instantly. He has been identified as 26-year-old Humberto Antonio Douglas. Judge Arthur Fort says the Douglas had no identification on him.
