BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - A man charged in an Alabama murder case has died awaiting extradition in Mississippi.
Shelby County Sheriff Chris Curry told WBMA-TV (http://bit.ly/UlGSWu ) that 30-year-old Lamario Brown was taken into custody in Mississippi. A warrant charging him in the September murder of 52-year-old William David Moore was then obtained by Shelby County authorities.
Law enforcement officials said they were notified Dec. 5 that Brown had died from medical complications while being held in Mississippi.
