MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) -

Police are looking for a suspect in a home invasion on Monday.

Authorities say a white male came to the back door of a home at 1704 Church Avenue.

According to a police report, the resident answered the door, and the suspect claimed he ran out of gas.

Both entered the home and once inside, the suspect pulled out a handgun and took all of the house phones.

The person in the home was not injured in the incident.

Middletown Police say the man was wearing a hooded black jacket and left the area on a bicycle.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should contact Detective K. Rogers at (513) 425-7741.
