ATLANTA (CBS ATLANTA) -
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White helped to fight hunger on Tuesday.
White handed out free meals at the Sweet Auburn BBQ food truck on Howell Mill Road for the Shrink Hunger event.
Boost Mobile was also involved in the event. It will donate $8,400 dollars to White's Keep The Faith Foundation, in honor of the receiver's jersey number, 84. The money will be used for student scholarships.
In addition, for every person who took part in the event, Boost Mobile donated a free meal to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
