Troy senior linebacker Kanorris Davis has been selected to play in the inaugural Raycom College Football All-Star Classic at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Ala., on Jan. 19. The game is scheduled to kickoff at 2 p.m. and will be televised live by CBS College Sports.

Davis, a native of Perry, Ga., finished the season tied with Brynden Trawick for the team lead with 83 tackles. He led all Trojans and ranked 10th in the Sun Belt averaging 7.5 tackles per game and finished fourth in the league with 62 solo tackles despite missing Troy's game at Tennessee.

Davis finished the year strong with 13 tackles against Arkansas State and 10 at Middle Tennessee; he also forced a pair of fumbles at Middle Tennessee and recovered a loose ball against Western Kentucky.

Davis finished his Troy career with a pair of Sun Belt Conference championships, 207 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and 10 forced fumbles. He was named to the All-Sun Belt Second Team last week after earning honorable mention All-Sun Belt honors in 2011.
