OVERLAND PARK, KS (KCTV) -

For one little baby born Wednesday at Saint Luke's South Hospital in Overland Park, KS, 12 is a decidedly luckily number.

Damek Seitz was born on 12-12-12 at 12:12 p.m. His mother was due to deliver by caesarean and the timing worked out just right.

"They called and said we have an opening on the 12th and we said, 'sure we'll take it,' and, lo and behold, here we are at 12 minutes after 12 with him being born," father Dan Seitz said.

The couple did a little math and determined the baby was conceived during the Big 12 Tournament.

Also, his full name is Damek Benjamin Xavier Isaac Ian Seitz, so that makes part of his initials XII, the Roman number for 12.
