A federal judge has denied bond for a Mobile, Ala., native charged with plotting to join violent international jihad.

The judge agreed with FBI investigators who said Randy Lamar "Rasheed" Wilson, 25, was a danger to the community and should remain in jail.

Wilson was arrested boarding an international flight from Atlanta to Morocco earlier this month.

Investigators say he planned to enter another African country and wage a violent jihad in support of his Muslim beliefs.

Wilson's attorney argued unsuccessfully that Wilson did not have a concrete plan and that his intent was not violent.
