This week parents all over our country will be hugging their children a little tighter. Following yet another senseless act of violence in Newtown, Connecticut, the reality of just how precious life is and that fact you never know when it will end becomes all the more real.
Spending quality time with friends and family this holiday week will come with a cloud of sorrow as it is almost impossible to not reflect and remember those that can no longer share the same quality time with their special someone's.
We encourage you to be present while handing out presents this holiday week. Present without cell phones, computers, televisions, radios and magazines. Present so you can share a laugh, a story, a hug and a smile with those most cherished by you.
The greatest gift one can receive is the unconditional love of another. Our hope for you is this week is filled with this very gift and that you receive and give it many times over.
