MESA, AZ (CBS5) -
Mesa police said they arrested a man suspected of breaking into a city building on Main Street early Wednesday morning.
Kenny Taylor was booked into jail on suspicion of burglary after he led officers on a brief chase, according to Steve Berry of the Mesa Police Department.
Officers said they found him inside the business at 51 E. Main St. about 12:34 a.m. Wednesday. He ran from the building and tried to escape on a bicycle, but a backup officer was able to cut him off.
Berry said windows to two suites in the building had been broken and items were disturbed in one.
Taylor refused to answer questions about the break-ins, Berry said.
