TUCSON, AZ (CBS5) -

Border Patrol agents from the Douglas Station have arrested a man who was in the U.S. illegally and found him to be wanted in a Phoenix murder.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials said Narcizo Yepiz-Urrea, 29, of Sonora, Mexico, was apprehended on Saturday and during the processing, officials learned he was wanted in Phoenix on first-degree murder charges.

Yepiz-Urrea was turned over to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office to await extradition by U.S. Marshals.

Details on the murder case were not immediately released.
