Nick Saban and his family may live in Tuscaloosa, but they're still interested in their old hometown.
The wife of the Alabama Crimson Tide's head football coach has purchased vacant land at an upscale shopping center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, reports WAFB-TV.
Terry Saban paid $750,000 for nearly two acres of vacant land at Perkins Rowe, according to the Baton Rouge Business Report. The land is located near one of the parking garages at Perkins Rowe.
The spot has been looked at in the past as a possible spot for a hotel, WAFB reports, but Mrs. Saban has not indicated what she plans to do with the land.
Nick Saban and Perkins Rowe developer Tommy Spinosa have done business together in the past.
