MOHAVE VALLEY, AZ (CBS5) -
A California man, pulled over in Mohave Valley, was arrested for aggravated DUI and driving with a suspended license on Thursday.
Jimmy Frank Richard, 50, of Needles, CA, was pulled over Thursday afternoon and upon inspection of his vehicle, deputies detected a strong odor of alcohol.
During questioning Richard did admit to drinking the night before and his speech was observed to be slow and slurred.
After conducting a field sobriety test, Richard was taken into custody and transported to the Mohave County District II Substation where an analysis revealed his blood alcohol concentration to be .152%.
A record check revealed that Richard was driving on a suspended driver's license.
He was booked into the jail without incident and his vehicle was towed from the scene.
