MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Three people have been indicted in the New Year's Day 2013 stabbing death of 21-year-old Danny Stroud in Montgomery.

According to a grand jury report dated Jan. 7, Tari Snell, the victim's ex-girlfriend, and Amanda Stroud, the victim's sister, have been indicted on one count each of felony murder. Rickey Padgett has been indicted on felony murder and murder charges.

Police received a call to the 2100 block of Powell Lane around 4:30 a.m. on New Year's Day 2013. Officers reportedly found Stroud suffering from a single stab wound. He was transported to Baptist Medical Center South where he was later pronounced dead.
