EL PASO COUNTY, CO (WAFF) -

A hearing is scheduled for Thursday for the Madison County soldier accused of sex crimes in Alabama and Colorado.

Madison Police said Aaron Lucas enticed and sexually assaulted a child in 2007.

Law enforcement in El Paso County, Colorado took him into custody on those charges, and he's being held without bond.

Lucas faces multiple charges in Colorado. DNA from those cases linked him to the Madison case.

Thursday's hearing is a first appearance for some of the Colorado charges.
