ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
Deerfield-Windsor infielder Harris Webb is one of the top players in the nation and will get to test his talents against the best in the nation.
Webb has been named an Under Armour All-American and with it has been invited to play in their preseason tournament next weekend in Arizona.
Under Armour says only Division I caliber high school players are picked for the game by their scouting department.
Webb is excited because his summer baseball teammate Eric Lee from Tiftarea has also been picked for the game.
Webb and Lee not only will get to play in front of pro scouts.
They will also get to learn from them.
"The level of competition is going to be extreme. I am going to meet new people. Hopefully, make some new friends out there. I still talk to people I have met at East Cobb. I just love meeting new people right now after I have been around them for a little while and get to play with them," said Harris Webb.
Deerfield-Windsor is set to open the 2013 season March 8th at the Tattnall Square tournament in Macon.
