TUCSON, AZ (AP) -
A Tucson man has been sentenced to 11 years in prison for a fatal road-rage shooting.
Pima County prosecutors say 25-year-old Andres Fernando Buelna faced up to a 22-year term at Thursday's sentencing.
Buelna was convicted in October of second-degree murder in the death of 50-year-old Benny Alvarez Casarez.
Authorities say Buelna shot Casarez in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant on Aug. 1, 2011.
Attorneys say both men were driving aggressively before the shooting.
Police say Casarez pulled into the parking lot and Buelna fired several shots, hitting the victim at least once before fleeing. Casarez died a short time later.
The Arizona Daily Star says Buelna must serve every day of his sentence but was given credit for the 526 days he's already served in jail.
