After a weeklong drug investigation, Holyoke police, the FBI Western Mass Gang Task Force and the U.S. Marshal Fugitive Task Force arrested three people.

After excessive complaints from neighbors that there was excessive foot traffic at 463 Appleton St., authorities initiated the investigation.

On Tuesday, around 5:30 p.m. police arrested the following three suspects:

  • Angel Luis Sanchez
  • Idalys M. Rivera
  • Eddie A. Rivera

Sanchez and Idalys Rivera were reportedly found with crack cocaine and oxycodone. They are being charged with conspiracy to violate the controlled substance act, trafficking in cocaine 18 to 36 grams, possession of class B substance, possession of a class B Substance with intent to distribute, and a drug violation within 300 feet of a school.

Eddie Rivera, of Dwight Street, also was found in the residence and arrested for failing to register as a sex offender with local authorities.
