Henderson ISD officials have been informed of the arrest of a Henderson High School teacher due to a non-school related incident. However, at this time, the investigation is ongoing, and the district is working in full cooperation with police and other authorities. Please note that the district is limited in the information that can be provided due to privacy laws.
The individual has been arraigned but is not currently on an HISD campus at this time. The individual has been placed on administrative leave for the foreseeable future. The safety of our children is our utmost priority, and HISD will do everything we can to protect the well being of Henderson students.
