Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer has appointed a new deputy director of legislative affairs.
She announced Friday that Shaun Rieve has been named to the job.
He replaces Lorna Romero, who was appointed director of legislative affairs in November.
Rieve joins the Governor's Office from the Arizona Department of Gaming, where he has served as a legislative and policy analyst since 2011.
Rieve graduated from Arizona State University in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in political science.
