FLINT, MI (WNEM) -
After tying the record for the most homicides in 2012, the FBI has named Flint the nation's most violent large city.
The numbers are preliminary, and come from the first half of 2012.
There were more than 1,300 violent crimes reported per 100,000 people.
Last year, there were 66 homicides in Flint.
Detroit is ranked the second most violent city.
