Southampton Police are searching for a man who robbed a Rite Aide for oxycodone

SOUTHAMPTON, MA (WSHM) -

Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a Rite Aid Pharmacy store early Friday.

The Southampton Police Department say they responded to a 9-1-1 call from the store's employee who claimed the store had been robbed. The employee reported the man said he had a gun while demanding oxycodone.

The suspect came away with large amounts of oxycodone.

Police describe the suspect as a white male around 25 to 30 years old, approximately 6' tall.

The suspect walked out of the store in an unknown direction and police have not determined if a vehicle was involved.
