On 01-18-2013 at approximately 2259hrs, a Residential
Burglary occurred in the 500 block of Seagle St. Tyler Smith County, Texas.
Upon Officer's arrival, they contacted the victim who stated she was in her
living room when she heard a loud noise inside the residence. The victim went
to her bedroom and locked the door at this time. After several minutes,
the suspects attempted to open the bedroom door. After realizing it was locked,
they were able to force it open. The victim said she observed two black male
suspects enter the room at this time. She was ordered to the floor and asked
where she kept her money. The suspects took her purse, wallet, and an
undetermined amount of money. Both suspects then fled the scene in an unknown
direction. The victim was unharmed during the incident. The first suspect
was described as a tall, thin black male, wearing a black ski mask, and was
carrying a black shotgun. The second suspect was a shorter, heavy set black
male, also wearing a black ski mask, and was carrying a black handgun. At this
time there is no further information pertaining to the case. Anyone with
information regarding the above case is encouraged to contact the Tyler
Police Department.
