First White House of the Confederacy to honor Robert E. Lee

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The First White House of the Confederacy will honor the birthday of Confederate General Robert E. Lee today.

Lee was born on January 19, 1807.

The First White House of the Confederacy will hold a birthday party for Lee, complete with cake, starting at 11 a.m. today.

The guest speaker will be Rev. Michael Howell, minister of Pastoral Care at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
