SPRING HILL, KS (KCTV) -

Police in Spring Hill are investigating what is being called an accidental shooting.

Officers responded to a medical emergency about 9:45 p.m. Monday to a home in the 700 block of North Jackson Street.

A woman was hit in the face but not seriously hurt. She told police she accidentally shot herself.

But officers say another person at the home fled from police.

They were stopped at Interstate 435 and Quivira Road by Olathe police and are being questioned.

No chargers have been filed.
