MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Police and Central Alabama CrimeStoppers are working together to find a Montgomery man wanted for kidnapping.

Authorities are searching for 19-year-old Demetrious James Colvin. He was wanted on charges of kidnapping first degree and for violation of a protection order.

Colvin is considered armed and dangerous. Authorities urge caution when approaching Colvin. Police also say he used an 'unknown type handgun' in the listed offenses.

If you have contact with Colvin or know of his whereabouts you are asked to contact your local law enforcement agency or call Central Alabama CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP.
