Cold and dry air has been moving into the area Thursday. Early Friday morning a layer of warmer air will move over this cold shallow air mass.
Eventually, we will all see just a chilly rain. Areas of Jackson, DeKalb and Marshall counties will see the moisture move in a little bit later.
