A Freezing Rain Advisory has been canceled for north Alabama.
Cold and dry air has been moving into the area Thursday. Early Friday morning a layer of warmer air will move over this cold shallow air mass.
Eventually, we will all see just a chilly rain. Areas of Jackson, DeKalb and Marshall counties will see the moisture move in a little bit later.
By the early afternoon hours most, if not all, of North Alabama will have temperatures above freezing.
Cities are advising drivers to use caution on the roadways.
