ROME, GA (WALB) -

Albany State was no match for Shorter College's defense.

Shorter converted 18 Lady Ram turnovers into 33 points and beat the ASU women 81-61 Thursday in Rome.

April Thomas led the Lady Rams (6-10) with 24 points.

The Albany State women are back at home with the Rams to host Claflin on Saturday.
