Day Street Bridge open again after two-vehicle accident - WSFA.com: News Weather and Sports for Montgomery, AL.

The bridge connecting Day Street and Birmingham Highway near the Maxwell Gate was closed for a short time Friday afternoon due to a two-vehicle accident on the bridge.

Both vehicles involved in the accident we disabled - causing the closure of the bridge. The vehicles were able to be removed and the roadway was opened up to traffic shortly before 1 p.m.

No injuries were reported.
