The driver of a motorcycle died after crashing on an Interstate 17 on-ramp at The Stack in Phoenix early Monday morning.
The victim was in his early to mid-20s and speed was a factor, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety. The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved, according to DPS.
The ramp connecting southbound Interstate 17 to the westbound I-10 lanes of the Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway were reopened nearly three hours after the crash about 4 a.m. Monday, according to an Arizona Department of Transportation spokesman.
