SANILAC COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -
A teenager is in double trouble after police say he tried to steal a semi-truck hours after stealing his grandmother's car.
Deputies in Sanilac County say a truck driver left his rig running outside a store in LaMotte Township.
As the driver noticed his rig moving outside the store, he ran and forced the 19-year-old out of the cab.
Deputies say the teen, who's from Kinde, also stole his grandmother's car from Huron County shortly before that incident.
He is currently in jail with a bond set at $25,000. Authorities said the teen may have been trying to take a road trip to Florida.
