GARDENDALE, AL (WAFF) -

The Board of Trustees of Gardendale-Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church is expected to meet Tuesday to discuss whether to fire a pastor charged with murder.

Dr. Terry Greer is currently suspended.

If he's fired, he won't have medical insurance.

His attorney said he's going to fight for Greer to keep his job until there's a verdict in the trial.

Police say Greer shot and killed his wife, then shot his daughter before stabbing himself.

Greer is still in the hospital.
