Movie Gallery Store Robbed Twice

A Montgomery business was robbed at gun point twice this month. And a former employee thinks he knows why.

The Movie Gallery on Carter Hill Road was hit two weeks ago and again on Sunday. Unlike other Movie Gallery stores in town, this one doesn't have any surveillance cameras. A former Movie Gallery district manager says that makes the store more vulnerable.

"My son has been held up at gun point twice and several other stores have been hit as well," says Mike Williams. "I think its time they take a little more stock in their employees."

Williams says he has several family members employed by Movie Gallery and he has approached the company several times about cameras. He says Movie Gallery is investigating the latest robberies. On Sunday, WSFA 12 News could not reach officials with the company, which is based in Dothan.
