DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -
A Decatur man faces capital murder charges for the death of an 8-month-old boy.
Police said rescue crews were called to a home on Gordon Drive in Decatur Tuesday morning.
They said Orlandos Deloney told them 8-month-old Kobe Coffee fell off the bed and wasn't breathing. The child later died at the hospital.
Autopsy results on Wednesday revealed that Kobe's death was not accidental.
Kobe was in the care of Deloney, his mother's boyfriend, when he was injured.
Deloney is being held in the Morgan County Jail on capital murder charges.
