MIDLAND, MI (WNEM) -
A family is homeless after a fire ripped through their mobile home Thursday night.
Fire officials in Midland said the fire happened at a home on Dyke Drive around 10 p.m. The area is near the intersection of Waldo Road and Bay City Road.
Officials say freezing temperatures made it difficult to put the fire out, causing it to burn until about 1:45 a.m. Friday morning.
Luckily, everyone escaped and no one was hurt.
Officials estimate that there is about $30,000 worth of damage.
No word yet on what caused the blaze.
