The Tallapoosa County Sheriff's Department is currently conducting a murder investigation that occurred on Seals Street in Waverly, Alabama.

On Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 8:42 A.M. the department received a call reference a shooting incident on Seals Street in Waverly, Alabama. Preliminary investigation revealed the victim, Robert Lewis Black, age 59 of Waverly, Alabama sustained a gunshot wound and had been transported to East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama where he died.

An arrest warrant for Murder has been issued on Tracey L. Beavers, black male, date of birth: 09/08/73, address 1289 Seals Street, Waverly, Alabama. Beavers is described as 6'1" (height), 140 lbs. (weight), brown eyes, black hair (braided) last seen wearing camouflage jacket and dark jeans.
